News: 1 May 2006 : "Due to the technical problems of booking system at Ubonburi Hotel, the committee decided to move the overbooked participants of Ubonburi Hotel to the Laithong Hotel in order to avoid some problems on the conference date. Please confirm your reservation on attached sheets, and show it to the reception of the hotel when you check in. We do apologize for your inconvenience. The room rate of Laithong Hotel is 1,100 baht per night for ECTI-CON participants. In case you can not find your name on the lists, please reserve the rooms at recommended hotels; Laithong Hotel and Nevada Hotel as soon as possible. The schedule for free transportation from Laithong Hotel to Ubonburi resort (the venue) are as follows:

On request: Participants can ask the hotel for private trip at any time from Laithong hotel to the venue. It costs 150 Baht/shuttle bus (special rate for ECTI participant, 15-20 Baht each). On request will be paid by the participants.

By Car

a)From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 to Saraburi and Highway No. 2 to Nakhon Ratchasima, then use Highway No.226 and proceed to Ubon Ratchathani via Buri Ram, Surin and Si Sa Ket, for a total distance of 629 kilometers.

b) From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 and Highway No. 2 unil arriving at Sikhio, then turn into Highway No. 24 and proceed to Ubon Ratchathani via Chok Chai, Nang Rong, Prasat, Det Udom and Warin Chamrap.

 

 

By Bus
